My wife, daughter and I hit some church rummage sales last weekend and I picked up about a dozen books. One of particular interest is a 1st printing of The Betty Furness Westinghouse Cook Book; printed in 1954 (the year I was born!). I've added to the Cookbook section of my TSC Sales store. It's not a huge collection, but there are a number of vintage editions.
Besides the Furness cookbook, I have
- 1953 El Molino Best Cookbook including allergy recipes!
- Vintage Cocktails, Authentic Recipes from 1920 to 1960 - 96 pages of great drinks!
- Aunt Sammy's Radio Recipes Revised - signed by the late Congressman John Jennings Jr. of Tennessee.
- Good Housekeeping's Cake Book - 1958 edition, they made cakes great back then!
- Favorite Recipes of America - a five volume boxed set, 1966 edition.
Lots of great food to be made from the vintage books.
